Description

Travel RN – Pediatric Emergency Department (ED)

Location: 1468 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10029 | 🏥 Mount Sinai Hospital

Start Date: 08/31/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hrs/week)
On-Call: No

Requirements

Active NY RN License
BSN Required
BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) – Required
NIHSS Certification – Required
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience.
Pediatric ED experience is REQUIRED.
At least 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred.
Trauma, TNCC, ENPC, and CEN certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients.
Perform rapid assessments, triage, and critical interventions.
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
Accurately document patient care in Epic.
Educate patients and families while ensuring safe, evidence-based care.
