Description
Travel RN – Pediatric Emergency Department (ED)
Location: 1468 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10029 | 🏥 Mount Sinai Hospital
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hrs/week)
- On-Call: No
Requirements
- Active NY RN License
- BSN Required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) – Required
- NIHSS Certification – Required
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience.
- Pediatric ED experience is REQUIRED.
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred.
- Trauma, TNCC, ENPC, and CEN certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients.
- Perform rapid assessments, triage, and critical interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
- Accurately document patient care in Epic.
- Educate patients and families while ensuring safe, evidence-based care.
