RN – Employee Health
Location: 1090 Amsterdam Ave, New York, NY 10025
Facility: Mount Sinai Health System (Employee Health Services)
Start Date: September 7, 2026 (13 weeks)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week (7.5-hour shifts)
Shift Hours: Predominantly 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, with several weekends required.


Work Locations: Mount Sinai Morningside & Mount Sinai West

Job Summary:
Mount Sinai Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Employee Health Services (EHS) team. This role focuses on employee health and wellness, including vaccine administration, health assessments, patient education, and EMR documentation. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-service oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced ambulatory environment.

Responsibilities
  • Administer vaccines and provide employee health services.
  • Perform nursing assessments and deliver safe, evidence-based patient care.
  • Educate employees on health promotion, disease prevention, and follow-up care.
  • Document all care accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic preferred).
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate employee health services.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and infection prevention guidelines.
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
  • Provide excellent customer service while managing a high-volume workload.

Requirements
  • Active New York State RN License
  • BLS Certification
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
  • Minimum 2 years of medical/ambulatory nursing experience
  • Vaccine administration experience is required
  • Epic EMR experience highly preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
