Description
Position: Registered Nurse – MS/Telemetry (MS/Tele)
Location: Beckley, West Virginia
Facility: Beckley ARH Hospital
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: August 11, 2026
Shift: Rotating 3x12 / 4x12 Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of current MS/Telemetry RN experience
- 3–6 months of Level IV Trauma (or higher) experience
- Meditech EMR experience
- Experience with telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, cardiac drips (non-titrating), central/PICC lines, BiPAP/CPAP, chest tubes, tracheostomy care, seizure disorders, post-MI, post-cardiac cath, and IV insulin protocols
- Floating required within scope of practice
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Certifications & Licensure
- Active West Virginia RN License or Compact RN License (required at submission)
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Additional Requirements
- Must live more than 75 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
- Every other weekend required
- Must accept the 84-hour biweekly schedule (3x12 one week, 4x12 the next)
- Maximum 7 days RTO, submitted with the application
- 2 references required (1 Charge Nurse or higher and 1 Supervisor, completed within the last year)
