Description

Travel EP Lab / Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

📍 Location: York, PA
🕒 Shift: 4x10-Hour Days (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent EP Lab and/or Cardiac Cath Lab experience
Current BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Experience with Epic EMR (Required)

Schedule

Day Shift: 4x10-hour shifts
Scheduled between 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Must be flexible to remain until the last patient is cared for

Job Responsibilities

Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
Prepare patients, equipment, and procedure rooms while maintaining sterile technique.
Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
Operate specialized cardiac imaging and monitoring equipment.
Assist with complex cardiovascular procedures including:
- Coronary interventions
- Electrophysiology studies and ablations
- Pacemaker and ICD implantation/explantation
- Structural heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip, LAA Occlusion, PFO/ASD Closure)
- Peripheral vascular interventions
- Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) and ECMO procedures
- Pulmonary embolectomy
- Cardioversion procedures
Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR.
Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control, and departmental protocols.
Float to other areas as needed.
