Registered Nurse (RN) – Employee Health
Location: Mount Sinai West & Mount Sinai Morningside, New York, NY
Facility: Mount Sinai Health System
Contract Duration: September 7, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, varied day shifts (primarily 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM). Some weekends required.
Hours: 37.50 hours/week

Job Summary
Mount Sinai Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Employee Health Services team. This assignment will support seasonal employee health initiatives, including administering flu vaccines to more than 4,000 employees. The RN will provide high-quality ambulatory nursing care, perform health assessments, administer vaccinations, document care accurately, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administer influenza and other employee vaccinations.
Assess, monitor, and provide nursing care using the nursing process.
Perform patient/employee assessments and implement appropriate interventions.
Educate employees on health promotion, disease prevention, and wellness.
Accurately document all care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Maintain patient safety and infection control standards.
Participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives.
Provide exceptional customer service while working in a high-volume Employee Health setting.
Float between Mount Sinai West and Mount Sinai Morningside as needed.

Requirements

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
BLS Certification.
Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
At least 2 years of medical/ambulatory nursing experience.
Experience administering vaccines is required.
EMR experience required; Epic experience highly preferred.
Previous travel nursing experience preferred for travel candidates.
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
