Description

Position: RN – Med Surg/Telemetry (MS/Tele)
Shift: Nights

Unit Details

Patient Ratio: 1:5–6
Minimum Experience: 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Floating: Required to float within scope and between like units as needed
On-Call: Not required
Block Scheduling: Manager's discretion

Required Certifications

BLS
ACLS
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Traveler Requirements

Local Candidates: Not accepted within a 50-mile radius of Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Pending License: Not accepted.
Requested Time Off (RTO): Subject to manager approval.
Guaranteed Hours: Up to 2 call-offs are permitted during the 13-week assignment. After that, contracted hours are guaranteed.
Interview Availability: Must be provided at the time of submission.

Special Policies

Travelers must be away from the facility for 1 year before returning.
Maximum of 2 contracts (one extension only). After completing 2 contracts, travelers must wait 6 months before returning.
