Description

Job Title: RN – MS/Tele
Facility Name: Johnson City Medical Center
Location: 400 N State of Franklin Rd, Johnson City, TN 37604-6094
Shift: Nights, 4*12-Hour (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Duration: 13 Weeks

Certs: AHA BLS required; NIHSS preferred
Weekends: Every other weekend
Call: No call
Patient Ratio: 1:7
Floating: Required to float to other units

Orientation:

General orientation begins on Sundays
Sunday consists of online CBLs
Travelers may start any Sunday once all compliance documents are completed by the deadline

Confirmation Notes:

Hospital may cancel one shift biweekly without penalty from the traveler's committed 36/36 or 36/48 schedule (per employment agreement) due to census decrease
Additional OT shifts picked up above the committed schedule may be flexed as needed with no penalty

Additional Expectations:
Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside providing clinical care in all specialties at Ballad Health.
Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience
AHA BLS
Community hospital experience required
First-time travelers accepted
Must live 100 miles from facility
