Job Summary – RN Emergency Department (ED) | Michigan | 13-Week 

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED)
Location: Michigan
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12X 3 Nights

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation.
• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department.
• Monitor, assess, and treat patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure patient safety standards are met.

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) RN experience.
• Previous experience in a Level II Trauma Emergency Department is required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Michigan RN License.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
