Description
Job Title: Mental Health Coordinator (LPC/ LCSW)
Location: California City, CA 93505
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | HPW: 40
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health screenings and clinical assessments through record reviews and inmate interviews.
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional levels.
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and ongoing mental health support.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient health records.
- Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques effectively within assigned caseloads.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including 2 years in a similar role.
- Strong background in mental health assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.
Education Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field from an accredited institution.
Requirement:
- Must possess an active LPC or LCSW license in the state of California.
- BLS (AHA)
- A valid driver's license is preferred unless required by contract or applicable statute.
- Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- US Citizenship and social security card required for facility clearance.
- Note: 70 miles radius rule.
