Description
🩺 Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (RN ER)
📍 Canton, OH
⏳ 13 Weeks Contract
🚀 Start: 09/11/2026
Shift: Night – 3x12 Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Every other holiday required
• EPIC documentation system utilized
• All job and submittal requirements are non-negotiable
🏥 Unit Details:
• Emergency Department
• Night Shift – 3x12s
• Acute Care Hospital Environment
📋 Requirements:
• Minimum 18 months of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent ED experience required prior to travel assignment
• PERM Ohio RN License or Compact RN License in hand required
• AHA or client-approved ACLS, BLS, PALS & TNCC certifications required and must be in hand
• EPIC experience required
• No exceptions to listed requirements
⭐ Mandatory Submission Requirement:
• One recent specialty reference is required
• Reference must be from a Manager, ANM, Supervisor, or Director in the Emergency Department specialty
• Candidate must provide the qualifying reference before submission
🩺 Required Skills:
• Emergency Department nursing
• Patient assessment and emergency stabilization
• Triage and prioritization of care
• Telemetry and cardiac rhythm recognition
• IV starts and IV management
• Medication administration
• Critical patient monitoring
• EPIC documentation proficiency
• Multidisciplinary emergency care coordination
🩺 Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients
• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Maintain IV access and provide emergency interventions as indicated
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary emergency care teams
• Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered emergency care
