Position Overview

HonorVet Technologies is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab for a 13-week travel assignment at WellSpan York Hospital in York, PA.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Cath Lab RN with strong cardiac procedural experience, including cardiac catheterization, PCI, structural heart procedures, procedural sedation, and post-procedure recovery.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience

• BLS required

• ACLS required

• Epic experience required

• Travel experience not required

• Must be comfortable working 10-hour day shifts

• Weekend coverage as needed

• Call required as needed; minimal call, primarily supporting full-time staff

• Must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for

• RTO: Maximum 7 days

• No holiday requirement

• No floating

Cath Lab Experience

Experience with the following is highly desirable:

• Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization

• Left and right heart catheterization

• Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)

• Cardiac stent placement

• Cardioversion

• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management

• Procedural sedation monitoring

• Sheath removal and monitoring

• Peripheral interventions

• Pulmonary embolectomy

• VAD/ECMO procedures

Important Assignment Details

• Day shift: 10-hour shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM

• Weekends as needed

• Minimal call

• May care for COVID-19 patients

• Tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility

• COVID-19 vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed per facility guidelines

• Flu vaccination required; medical exemptions only

• Clinical screening may be completed prior to manager review

• Candidate must pass clinical review and meet WellSpan guidelines
