Position Highlights

• First-time travelers accepted

• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required

• Travel experience required

• ACLS & BLS MO License or compact License required

• CPI preferred

• Previous charge nurse experience preferred

• Teaching hospital experience preferred

• Level III Trauma acute care hospital

• Adult & geriatric patient population

• Meditech charting experience required

• Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend

• Float within scope as needed

• No on-call requirement

• Free parking

• COVID-19 vaccination not required

ICU Skills Required

Experience with:

• Arterial lines, central lines & PICCs

• IV starts and IV therapy

• Blood product administration

• Ventilated patients

• BiPAP/CPAP & HFNC

• ABG interpretation

• Chest tubes

• Continuous IV sedation

• Cardiac & vasoactive drips

• CVA/acute stroke management

• EVD & ICP monitoring

• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management

• IABP

• Pre/post cardiac cath/intervention

• Swan-Ganz/Pulmonary Artery Line monitoring

• TAVR

• IV insulin protocols

• Acute/chronic renal failure

• Multisystem organ dysfunction/failure

Schedule & Other Details

• 4×12-hour day shifts

• Weekend rotation required

• Block scheduling not available

• Locals accepted within a 60-mile radius

• Pending license not accepted

• RTO must be approved and documented before the assignment begins
