      Shift : 7p - 7a ( 36 Hours)

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience

• Active RN License

• BLS certification required

• ACLS certification required

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

• Strong patient assessment and clinical skills

• Emergency equipment knowledge and experience

• Strong documentation skills

• English speaking, reading, and writing proficiency

Key Responsibilities

Patient Assessment & Clinical Care

• Perform thorough, systematic, comprehensive, and accurate patient assessments

• Provide appropriate nursing care across the patient population

• Demonstrate competent clinical skills and knowledge of emergency procedures

• Recognize changes in patient condition and prioritize care accordingly

Documentation

• Maintain complete and accurate patient documentation

• Document the nursing process and patient progress toward outcomes

• Complete patient education documentation and charting requirements

Patient Safety

• Follow National Patient Safety Goals and Universal Protocol

• Use two patient identifiers

• Follow appropriate safety and infection-control procedures

• Demonstrate safe patient transfer techniques and proper body mechanics

Patient Education

• Assess patient and family understanding of procedures and instructions

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative education as appropriate

• Actively involve patients and families in the plan of care

Professionalism

• Maintain professional and courteous communication with patients, families, and coworkers

• Follow facility policies and procedures

Education & Certifications

Required:

• Active RN License

• BLS

• ACLS

• Minimum 1 year ICU experience

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing minimum

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
