Registered Nurse – House Supervisor
📍 Location: Gouverneur, NY
📅 Start Date: 09/21/2026
⏳ Contract: 13 weeks

🌙 Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | 3×12s
Key Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of House Supervisor or RN Manager experience
- Travel experience required
- NY RN license in hand at submission
- EPIC experience is a hard requirement
- ACLS, BLS & PALS required
- Must be comfortable with:
- Inpatient acute care
- Emergency care & code management
- Crisis intervention
- Bed management & facility/bed diversion
- Rapid response
- New admissions/transfers
- Supervising nursing care across units
- Regulatory requirements & infection control
- First-time travelers are NOT accepted
- Candidates must be more than 75 miles from the facility
- Floating is required
Unit Details
- 25-bed inpatient unit
- Average daily census: 19
- Patient population: Adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics & geriatrics
- Weekend coverage: Every other weekend
- RN ratio: approximately 1:6 days / 1:7 nights, with LPN support
- Unit serves medical, detox and swing-bed patients
- Common diagnoses include CHF, pneumonia, COPD, cellulitis, syncope, chest pain observation, ETOH/opioid withdrawal and debility
- EPIC charting
- Scrubs required; no formal dress code
- RT available Monday–Friday, 7 AM–3 PM
