Travel Experience: Not Required — First-Time Travelers Accepted

Charting: Any EMR preferred
Scrubs: Navy Blue

Requirements

• ACLS

• BLS

• NIHSS

• 1 year of relevant RN experience

• IMC/PCU/Stepdown or Telemetry experience

• Strong cardiac and telemetry experience

Patient Population

• Adults & Geriatrics

• CHF

• Chest Pain

• COPD

• AFib with RVR

• Cardiac Arrhythmias

• CVA

• Renal Failure

• Cardiac & Telemetry Monitoring

• Dysrhythmia Recognition & Management

• BiPAP / CPAP

• HFNC

• Oxygen & Non-invasive Airway Management

• IV Starts & Peripheral IV Management

• PICC/Central Line Management

• Blood Product Administration

• Heparin Protocols

• Cardiac Drips — No Titration

• Post-MI & Post-Cardiac Cath Care

• Sheath Removal

• Chest Tube Management

• Feeding Tube Care

• Pre/Post Hemodialysis Care

• Rapid Response/Code Team Experience

• Wound Care/Wound Vac

Schedule & Unit Details

• 3×12-hour night shifts

• Every 3rd weekend

• 5 weekend shifts during the contract

• Self-scheduling

• Float required

• 18 hours orientation

• 1 pre-approved time-off request

• Daily census: approximately 16

• 16 rooms / 18 beds

• Medication system: Pyxis

• Communication system: SBAR
