Position Overview

Seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 29-bed, non-aggregated ICU at LBH – Sinai Hospital in Baltimore.

The unit has an average daily census of approximately 26 patients and provides care for Medical, Surgical, Coronary Care, Neuro, and Trauma patients.

The ICU specializes in high-risk Neuro and Trauma interventions and serves an adult and geriatric patient population.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience
• Neuro ICU experience required
• Surgical ICU experience required
• Level II Trauma experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management required
• Experience managing multisystem organ dysfunction/failure required
• Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration experience required

Patient Ratios

• ICU: 1:2
• Travelers floating to IMC: up to 1:4
• If an ICU patient is downgraded and awaiting an available bed, the ICU ratio may temporarily be 1:3

Certifications & Assessments

• ACLS
• BLS
• NIH
• ATCAR or equivalent trauma education
