Travel ICU RN – Topeka, KS
Facility: The University of Kansas Health System – Saint Francis Campus
Location: Topeka, KS
Unit: ICU / Mixed ICU-CVICU
Contract: 12 Weeks
Openings: 3
Shift: Nights | 3×12s | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Experience: 2 Years ICU preferred
Recent ICU Experience: 1 year of dedicated ICU experience within the past 2–3 years
Travel Experience: Not Required – First-Time Travelers Accepted
Charting: Epic preferred
Weekend: Every Other Weekend
Float: Required
Local Candidates: Not Accepted – 50-mile radius rule

Adult & geriatric patient population

Approx. 13-patient daily census

1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio

6–10 CV cases/month

Nurses recover their own post-op cardiac patients

CRRT experience required

Must be able to manage 2 ventilated patients while multitasking with multiple titratable drips

No ECMO or LVADs

Equipment includes Edwards FloTrac, Swan-Ganz and CRRT
