Description
Location: Greensboro, NC 27401
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift – 3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
HPW: 36
Experience & Requirements:
- Position is posted as MS/Tele due to EKG requirements for all RNs and the tele-capable unit; however, the patient population will be primarily Medical-Surgical.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers are welcome.
- BLS certification required.
- EPIC experience required.
- Traveler must successfully pass an EKG exam during onboarding.
- Every other weekend (EOW) required.
- Holiday rotation/as needed required.
- Floating required as needed; all travelers may be required to float across all Cone Health facilities.
- Previous Charge RN experience preferred.
- Experience caring for observation patients.
- Experience with respiratory conditions and related problems.
- Experience managing general Medical-Surgical diagnoses.
- Experience caring for palliative, end-of-life, and hospice patients.
- Experience with psychiatric observation patients.
- Experience caring for diabetic patients, including new-onset diabetes and diabetes-related complications.
- Experience with surgical patients and surgical observation.
- COVID-19 vaccination requirement: Medical/Religious exemptions only.
