Charting: Epic – Required

Requirements

• 2 years of ER/RN experience

• Previous Charge RN experience – Required

• Community hospital experience – Required

• Travel experience not required

• Must be comfortable caring for both adult and pediatric patients

• Float within the ED specialty, including up to 4 other ED locations as needed

• Every other weekend

• 1 RTO request allowed

• 24 hours of orientation

Certifications

Required:

• BLS

• ACLS

• CPI

• NIHSS

• NRP

• PALS

Preferred:

• TNCC

Unit Highlights

• 32 rooms / 36 beds

• Approximately 90 ED visits per day

• Patient population: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults & Geriatrics

• Combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department

• STEMI-certified facility

• Stroke-certified facility

• Interdisciplinary support includes Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, PT, Social Services, Interpretation Services and Unit Secretary
