Travel Contract – Registered Nurse (Step Down)

Position Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse – Step Down
Unit: Cardiovascular Thoracic Unit
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week available
Patient Ratio: 1:4
Float: Required
Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
Orientation: 24 hours
Scheduling: Self-scheduling
Travel Experience: Not required
Local Candidates: Accepted within 50 miles at a reduced rate

Requirements

✅ Active Missouri RN or Compact RN License
✅ 1 year of RN experience
✅ BLS/BCLS
✅ ACLS
⭐ NIHSS preferred
⭐ BSN preferred
⭐ Previous Step Down/PCU/Telemetry experience preferred
⭐ Epic experience required

Cardiac Telemetry & Dysrhythmia Interpretation
PCU/Step Down/IMC/DOU
Cardiac & Vascular Patients
Post-MI & Post-Cardiac Surgery
Pre/Post Cardiac Cath
TAVR, Pacemakers & Vascular Procedures
Chest Tubes
BiPAP/CPAP & HFNC
Central/PICC Line Management
Heparin & Cardiac Drips
Rapid Response/Code Teams
Blood Product Administration
IV Therapy & Phlebotomy
