Description

Title: Registered Nurse – Mother-Baby / Postpartum
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Shift: Days – 4x12 Hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Weekly Pay: $2,400
Schedule: 36 or 48 hours/week
Requirements:
- 2 years of Postpartum/Mother-Baby experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
- BLS and NRP required
- Weekend availability required
- Floating required
- 50-mile local radius – locals not accepted
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a couplet-care setting.
- Monitor maternal and newborn conditions and identify changes requiring intervention.
- Perform postpartum assessments and support recovery following delivery.
- Assist with newborn care, feeding, bonding, and parent education.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, lactation staff, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, coordinated care.
