Schedule: Days – 36 hrs/week
Shift: Rotating day shifts between 7:00 AM–7:30 PM

✨ Position Highlights

• PACU / Phase I recovery experience required

• 2 years of RN experience

• Previous Charge RN experience required

• Epic experience preferred

• Community hospital experience preferred

• Patient population: Pediatrics, Adolescents & Adults

• Call required

• Every other weekend required

• Floating within specialty and within scope may be required

• Holidays required as scheduled

📋 Required Certifications

• BLS – AHA

• ACLS – AHA

• PALS – AHA

• Active Maryland or Compact RN License

🩺 Preferred/Relevant Skills

Experience with:

• Phase I PACU

• Pre/Post-op care

• Airway assessment & ventilated patients

• IV therapy and central lines

• Blood product administration

• Arterial lines & cardiac monitoring

• Dysrhythmia recognition/management

• Pain management & PCA pumps

• General, MAC, spinal, nerve block and conscious sedation cases

• Pediatric PACU patients

⏰ Call Details

Call is required and may include Friday overnight, Saturday, Sunday, and holiday coverage. Currently, travelers may take approximately 3 call shifts per 4-week period, depending on unit needs.
