Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical
Location: 1 Medical Park Blvd, Bristol, TN 37620
Facility: Bristol Regional Medical Center
Unit: BR 2E
Start Date: October 19, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3x12s | 36 hours/week
Weekend: Every other weekend
Call: No Call

Job Description
Seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide care for adult patients in a 23-bed unit.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg experience
Telemetry experience required
AHA BLS required
Epic experience required
Patient ratio approximately 1:6
First-time travelers accepted
Must be willing to float to other units
Strong experience with IV therapy, central/PICC lines, blood products, chest tubes, wound care, telemetry, and post-surgical patients
Must pass the Relias Basic EKG assessment within 72 hours of offer acceptance
Permanent residence must be 100 miles from the hospital service area

Additional Details

Every other weekend and rotating holidays
No block scheduling
General orientation begins Sunday with online CBLs
Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions accepted
COVID vaccine not required
Contract staff may participate in nursing student support and clinical education
