Description
Oncology / Infusion RN
Experience: 1 year | Ratio: 1:4
Charting: Epic | Travel Experience: Required
Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
Certifications: BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC) required | ACLS & OCN preferred
Unit: Hospital-based Infusion Center
Patient Population: Solid tumors, lymphoma, leukemia, MDS, neuro-oncology, and other hematologic/oncologic conditions.
Key Skills:
- Chemotherapy/biotherapy/immunotherapy
- IV therapy and infusion management
- Port, PICC & central line care
- Blood/blood product administration
- Bone marrow procedures
- Intrathecal & intravesical chemotherapy
- Management of oncologic emergencies and chemo side effects
- Neutropenic precautions and patient education
