Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Location: Baltimore, MD 21201
Start Date: 11/09/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00–17:30)
Schedule: 4x10 hours; 4 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule; holidays as scheduled
Patient Ratio: 1:1

Call Requirement: Yes – 4 call shifts per 6-week period; 1-hour response time
Note: Previous charge experience required. BLS required; CNOR preferred. Active Maryland or Compact RN license required. Teaching hospital experience and Level I/II trauma experience preferred. First-time travelers accepted. Flu vaccine required with no exemptions; COVID-19 vaccine not required.

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Operating Room RN to provide perioperative nursing care across a broad range of surgical specialties, including vascular, gynecology, plastics, neurology, trauma, orthopedic, general, pediatric, urology, ENT, thoracic, transplant, and robotic surgery. The role requires strong scrub and circulating skills, previous charge experience, and the ability to maintain patient safety throughout surgical procedures.

Requirements:
License: Active Maryland or Compact RN license at time of submission
Experience: 2 years of RN experience; previous charge experience required; 1:1 patient ratio experience. Teaching hospital and Level I/II trauma experience preferred.
Certifications: BLS required; CNOR preferred
Other requirement: Must be comfortable with weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage. First-time travelers accepted.
