Description

Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT)
Location: Charleston, WV
Facility: Short-Term Acute Care | Level 1 Trauma Center | Major Teaching Hospital

Position Details

Shift: 3x12 Nights
Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: Weekdays some weekends
Float: Yes, within scope; may float to sister facilities
Start Date: Orientations every other Monday
Experience Required: 1 year
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Weekend Requirement: Yes
On-Call: No
Guaranteed Hours: 72–80 hours per pay period
Block Scheduling: Considered, but not guaranteed
RTO: Must be submitted at least 2 weeks before the next schedule and approved by manager

Clinical Requirements

Required Cases: Critical Care, General Care, Adults and/or Pediatrics
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Pediatric Requirement: PALS and NALS for Peds
License: Pending state license accepted
Floating: Must be willing to float as needed within scope
Sister Facility Floating: Yes

Traveler / Local Policy

Traveler Radius: Must live 100 miles from the facility
75–100 Miles: May be considered as an exception
