Description
Job Title: RN Correctional
Location: Eloy, AZ 85131
Shifts: Days,5x8 HPW: 40
Length: The initial duration is 13 weeks, with the possibility of an extension based on facility needs and performance
Note: US Citizenship and social security card required for facility clearance
Must have open availability to work per the CoreCivic Scheduling PolicyJob Description:
- Monitor inmate/resident hospitalizations for early release eligibility.
- Observe and document behaviour. Inspect and secure the medical unit, disposing of contraband risks.
- Escort or coordinate inmate/resident transport for medical care.
- Conduct searches for contraband on persons and objects.
- Perform security checks in confined areas and during shifts. De-escalate or prevent disruptive situations.
- Supervise and guide nursing and non-licensed medical staff.
- Collaborate with facility staff and external providers.
- Follow policies and exercise sound judgment in all tasks.
- Active RN license in the state of AZ or Compact/Multistate License.
- Must have two years of professional nursing experience.
- BLS (AHA)
