Description

DAY SHIFTS 36 hours per week guaranteed
timing: 6 am to 6 pm
Schedule: 3x12 hour shifts/week. schedule to be determined by facility needs - no specific or set schedules
Duration: 8 week initial duration

Job Description:

Monitor inmate/resident hospitalizations for early release eligibility.
Observe and document behavior. Inspect and secure the medical unit, disposing of contraband risks.
Escort or coordinate inmate/resident transport for medical care.
Conduct searches for contraband on persons and objects.
Perform security checks in confined areas and during shifts. De-escalate or prevent disruptive situations.
Supervise and guide nursing and non-licensed medical staff.
Collaborate with facility staff and external providers. Follow policies and exercise sound judgment in all tasks.

Requirements:

Active RN license in the state of Arizona or Compact/multistate license
Must have one year of professional nursing experience.
