SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING

• Shift: 0700-1730

• Years of Experience: 2 year's - Cardiac and Vascular exp required

• Weekend Requirement: Refer to On Call

• On Call Requirement: (2) 48-hour weekend call shifts
-(14) weekday shifts call shifts
*weekday call shifts start at 1700 and end at 0700
*weekend call shifts start at 0700 on Saturday morning and go until 0700 Monday morning. The schedule is a 6-week rotating schedule.


• RTO, Block & Scheduling Requests: All requests must be included at the time of submission. Requests made afterward may not be approved.

• Call Off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

• Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes

• Locals Accepted: Yes: *** rate differential applies


REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

• Must be included with submission: BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT


REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS
========================
• Scrub: Cardiac and Vascular scrub experience required. Scrub experience highly preferred for General, Urology and Ortho

• Level 2 trauma center: Experience with trauma patients required

• Cardiac: Atrial Septal defect repair; Cardiomyoplasty; Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG); Mitral valve replacement; Pericardial window; Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR); Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD); Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery

• Vascular: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair; Aortic Aneurysm repair; Aortocaval fistula repair; Aortoenteric fistula repair; Arteriovenous fistula repair; Arteriovenous malformation surgery; Atherectomy; Carotid angioplasty, artery stenting, and Endarterectomy; Endovascular Aneurysm Repair; Femoral popliteal bypass graft; Renal artery bypass surgery; TEVAR


UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING

• Scrubs: Hospital provided

• Floating: As needed, travelers are first to float between the Atlantic City and Mainland Campus (in Pomona). The campuses are approximately 12 miles apart (15–20 minute drive).


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
=======================
• Travelers may be required to make up missed shifts during the same week or at the end of the assignment.
