What is the census? About 10 cases per day...
How many years of experience are required?
• 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience is required
• Teaching hospital and Level I trauma experience are preferred...
Are first-timers accepted? Yes...
What is the weekend requirement? No regular weekend requirement is specified; weekend call is required...
What is the call requirement?
• The weekday call is back up as they have a primary team M-F. The back up call during the week is 5pm to 7am weekdays M-F.
• Weekends can be primary or back up. Weekends 7am to 7am Saturday and Sunday. Holidays are 7am -7am if needed.
Which certifications are required?
• ACLS, BLS, ARRT-R is required
• Maryland RT license is required
• ARRT-VI and fluoroscopy permit are preferred...

• The system will auto approve 14 days or less of RTO
• Every other winter and summer holiday are required and no RTO is approved
• No RTO on hard-to-fill days like Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, etc...
Any additional unit information?
• This is a 3-room Interventional Radiology department at LBH – Sinai Hospital
• The department serves adult and geriatric patients
What other experience is required?
• Neuro and vascular interventional experience are required
• Required experience includes biopsies, peripheral procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, stroke procedures, kyphoplasty and nephrogram procedures
• Siemens experience is preferred, with Philips, Toshiba and Client equipment also identified
What is the charting system?
• Cerner experience is preferred
What is the scrub color? IR Techs wear Any Color...
