Registered Nurse – OB/GYN

Location: Valentine, NE 69201
Start Date: 11/09/2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts; primarily night shift, with some flexibility for shifts
Float Required: Yes — may float to Med-Surg as needed
Call Requirement: Not specified
Note: L&D RN position with ability to float to Med-Surg; possibility of additional hours as available.

Position Overview:
Provides nursing care to obstetric and gynecologic patients in the Labor & Delivery unit, with flexibility to support Med-Surg as needed.

Job duties:

• Provide nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.

• Monitor maternal and fetal status and recognize changes requiring intervention.

• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy according to patient needs and orders.

• Assist with obstetric procedures and provide ongoing patient and family education.

• Provide safe nursing care to Med-Surg patients when floating according to competency.

Requirements:
Certifications: BLS, PALS & NRP
Other requirement: L&D RN experience; ability to float to Med-Surg as needed.
