Description
Travel RN – Operating Room (OR) | Morristown, NJ
Location: Morristown, New Jersey
Schedule Notes : 7am - 8pm
Duration : 13 weeks
Requirements:
-
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
-
Active RN license required
-
BLS and ACLS certifications required
-
CNOR certification preferred
-
Graduate of an accredited nursing school (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
-
Provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative patient assessments and nursing care.

Demonstrate clinical competency in perioperative nursing and surgical procedures.

Monitor patient responses to surgical procedures and anesthesia.
-
Maintain accurate patient documentation and support patient education.
-
Follow patient safety protocols, including Universal Protocol and proper patient identification.

Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure safe, efficient, patient-centered care.
-
Support Pre-Admission Testing (PAT), including reviewing orders and identifying potential omissions when applicable.
