Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Location: 400 N State of Franklin Rd, Johnson City, TN 37604
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: (Tentative)
Shift: Nights, 4 × 12-hour shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
At least 1 year of PCU experience within the past 2 years, documented in work history. This is a hard-stop requirement.
Recent experience in a Level I Trauma facility.
Epic charting experience.
AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Must pass the Relias Advanced EKG test within 72 hours of offer acceptance.
Permanent residence must be at least 100 miles from the hospital's service area.

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching hospital experience.
Experience with arterial blood gas interpretation, post-MI care, cardiac catheterization, TR Band management, CVA, craniotomy, and IV insulin protocols.
