Position Details:

• Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

• Location: Baltimore, MD 21215

• Start Date: 11/23/2026

• Job Duration: 13 weeks

• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours

• Schedule: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM

• Hours per Week: 36 hours

• On-Call: Not required

• Floating: Not required

• Local Candidates: Accepted

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Respiratory Therapy experience

• Active Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner license

• ACLS and BLS certifications

• RRT preferred; CRT candidates with 5 years of experience may be considered

• Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department experience required

• First-time travelers are accepted

Clinical Skills Required:

• Airway management, including extubation, intubation assistance, suctioning, and tracheostomy care

• Experience caring for patients with ARDS, aspiration, pneumonia, and fresh tracheostomies

• Bronchoscopy support and sputum specimen collection

• Ventilator management, including BiPAP, CPAP, SIMV, pressure-alarm troubleshooting, and weaning from mechanical ventilation

• Chest physiotherapy, arterial blood gas (ABG) collection, and interpretation

• Experience with high-flow oxygen, oxygen-delivery systems, and nebulizer/aerosol medication delivery

• Cerner charting experience

Additional Information:

• Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required.

• Up to two pre-approved time-off requests are permitted per contract.

• Up to 14 days of RTO may be automatically approved, subject to facility policy.

• No RTO is permitted for required winter and summer holidays or hard-to-fill dates.

• Block scheduling is not available.
