Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Corrections

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

• Current RN license valid in the state of employment.

• One year of nursing experience preferred.

• U.S. citizenship required.

• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for facility clearance.

Schedule & Important Details:

• First two weeks of orientation: Monday–Friday, day shift.

• Open availability required according to facility scheduling policy.

• Credit check required as part of the background screening.

• Facility clearance required before starting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care, assessments, medication administration, and treatments.

• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate patient referrals.

• Maintain accurate medical records and medication documentation.

• Monitor patient conditions and support healthcare staff.

• Follow correctional healthcare policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
