Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU - ONS 48'sShift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x4, 48 hours per week
Length: 13 weeks
6-week schedulesWeekend rotation: Travelers could be scheduled for up to 4 out of the 6 weekends, which include Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Requirements:
- SD License
- 1 year of nursing experience
- 1st time traveler must have EPIC experience
- Previous experience with our types of patients below, including IMC/stepdown and neuro
- Ability to read/interpret cardiac strips, wound care, line management, drain/tube management, drip titration of below medications
- Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Epic – strongly preferred
- Will accept a first-time traveler if greater than 1 year of experience
- Travelers must live 100 miles away from any facility
- Patient Types: This is a mixed acuity unit meaning there will be Intermediate Care acuity as well as Tele and MedSurg, Pre/post-surgical patients, CVA, seizures, cellulitis, influenza, UTIs, pneumonia, COPD, CHF, renal failure with or without the need for hemodialysis, hepatic failure, gastrointestinal disorders and infections, soft tissue injury and minor fractures, and DVTs. Medication administration, titratable vasoactive drips, TPN/tube feeding, and blood product transfusions, Peripheral IV, Midline, PICC and central line access, chest tubes, nasogastric tubes, drains, and urinary and fecal collection devices, Wound care, telemetry monitored patients, Post neuro-intervention (preferred experience but education and resources are provided per unit if they have not had this patient type)
- Floating: Any Adult Inpatient Unit - Med Surg, Ortho/Neuro/Surgical, Heart and Vascular Unit, Oncology, Observation
- Could be floated within scope of practice and below

Any Adult Inpatient Unit - Med Surg, Ortho/Neuro/Surgical, Heart and Vascular Unit, Oncology, Observation Could be floated within scope of practice and below Will float in rotation with other travelers

• Worked at MultiCare Health System previously? If yes, when, what unit?
• Special scheduling requests (if applicable)
• Start date
• Disclosure of criminal charge/convictions and nurse license board action (if applicable)
• Last 4 digits of the Social Security Number
HCP file submissions to Client facility must include:
• Minimum 1 ½ years (18-months) core work experience in unit specialty area for contract Minimum 2 years core work experience in unit specialty area for Per Diem
• Work history to include name of hospital, location, number of hospital beds, trauma level, teaching hospital experience, and computer charting information (if applicable)
• Minimum 2 clinical references dated within one year
• Primary source license verification for all states with active licensure or national certification if applicable
• Copies of BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, continuing education documents (if applicable)
• Skills checklist applicable to unit specialty area
Please note that all pay rates are estimates. Weekly gross pay is based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
