We’re building a pipeline of experienced ER Travel RNs interested in upcoming 2026–2027 opportunities with a leading Cambridge-area health system.

Position Overview
As a Travel ER RN, you’ll work alongside a collaborative clinical team providing care to patients with a variety of urgent and emergent needs. We’re looking for experienced nurses who are comfortable in a fast-paced ED and can confidently adapt to changing patient needs.
Patient Ratios: Assignments vary based on patient acuity, department volume, and staffing.
Floating: Travelers should be comfortable floating based on facility needs, including to affiliated campuses within approximately 25 minutes.
What You’ll Do
The Emergency Room RN assumes responsibility and accountability for:
Assessing and prioritizing patients based on acuity
Providing emergency nursing care, treatments, medications, and IV therapy
Recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition
Collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
Supporting patients through testing, admission, transfer, or discharge
Maintaining safe, accurate, and timely documentation
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of recent ER/ED RN experience
Current RN license valid for practice in Massachusetts
Current AHA BLS and ACLS
Previous travel experience preferred, but not required
Flexibility to float based on assignment needs
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and adaptability
Travel Eligibility
Travelers must maintain a permanent residence 50+ miles from the facility.
