Description
St. Luke’s is looking for a full Time Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team for the main operating room at the Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls! Come join an amazing team.
**$15k Sign on bonus being offered ** (For new hires)
Schedule: 1.0 FTE, (80 hours per pay period). Position will work 4 (10) hour shifts with varied start times and varied day off based on surgery schedule, plus some required call.

Registered Nurse - Operating Room Twin Falls, Idaho
Surgical Services preforms the following procedures: Ortho (total joint), general surgeries, ENT, Laparoscopic, OBGYN (no babies), plastic, Urology, Vascular, Spine Surgeries, a few pain management, pediatric patients & dental.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient’s needs.
Responsibilities
- Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
- Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
- Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
- Manages care of patients.
- Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
- Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
- Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Associates of Nursing Degree or Diploma Certificate, BSN is highly preferred
- Experience: 1+ years circulator experience highly preferred. Hiring leader is willing to train if you have a passion to work in the Operating Room.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
