What you can expect from this role
- Work as Team Lead RN based in the Emergency Department
- Teach/mentor RNs in de-escalation techniques, restraint protocols, safety, psychopharmacology and other behavioral health topics
- Rounding with charge nurses on the inpatient units and may conduct debriefings with staff.
- May do chart audits for restraint documentation
- Training and orientation provided for this role
- Continuing education scholarships - including conferences, certification, licensure
- Certification pay available
- Full-time (0.9 FTE), evening shift opening (1130-0000) 3 x 12 hour shifts.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
- Experience: 3 years' experience; emergency and/or psych experience highly preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
