Submission Guidelines

1. Submit candidates to only one job ID and one facility.

   • Candidates submitted to multiple job IDs and/or branches will be rejected.

2. A copy of the traveler's driver's license is required at the time of submission.

3. Include all RTO (Requested Time Off) in the submission packet.

   • RTO submitted after an offer is made will not be honored.

4. Please do not call in.

   • Recruiters, credentialing specialists, and accounting staff should not contact the facility directly.

Holiday Requirements

1. If the assignment includes end-of-year holidays:

   • If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall during the assignment, the traveler must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays.

   • If only 2 holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler must be willing to work at least 1 of the 2 holidays.

Rehire Eligibility

1. Former Permanent Staff

   • Must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler through Qualivis.

2. Former Travelers

   • Travelers who worked a full year assignment must be away for 1 full year before returning.

   • If a traveler was previously employed by the facility (perm or travel), contact the AM to confirm rehire eligibility before submission.

Floating Expectations

1. RNs may be floated between:

   • Like units

   • Campuses within a 20-mile radius

2. Floating between campuses is rare unless specifically stated in the job posting.

Traveler Requirements

1. Minimum 2 years of recent experience required for all specialties

   • 3+ years preferred

2. Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment

3. Must hold:

   • An active RN license in the state or

   • A compact RN license that complies with the NLC guidelines

4. EPIC experience preferred

Education Requirements

1. A BSN is only required for:

   • Le Bonheur Children's

   • Methodist Rheumatology

   • Centralized Staffing Positions (Float Pool)

2. All other positions accept an ADN.

Profile & Credentialing Requirements

1. Clearly list the traveler's best contact time on their profile.

2. If certifications will expire during the assignment, include a documented renewal plan on the profile.

   • Example: “BLS expires 5/30/18 - Sydney is enrolled in a renewal class on 5/7/18.”

3. Include vaccination status with submission.
