Location: Bassett Medical Center Unit Profile: Cath Lab Technician Overview of Skillset Requirements: The Cath Lab at Bassett Medical Center requires skilled Cath Lab Technicians with solid experience in cardiac catheterization procedures and a strong understanding of advanced imaging technology. Technicians should be proficient with Philips x-ray equipment, Xper monitoring, and Epic software to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. This role suits techs with a proven ability to function efficiently in a high-acuity setting. Techs will also be responsible for performing IR, Vascular and EP cases so experience in these areas is highly preferred. Shift and Schedule:  Standard Shift: Monday through Friday, 0700-1730 (10-hour shifts, 4 days per week)  On-Call Requirements: o Typically 1 weekday per week o Every 4th to 5th weekend, with on-call coverage from Friday at 1730 to Monday at 0700 Certifications and Experience:  Required: Prior Cath Lab experience is essential to meet the demands of this role.  Preferred: Experience with Cath, TAVR, LAAO is encouraged; EP/pacemakers, ablations, vascular, and IR experience are also highly preferred. Equipment Utilized:  Imaging and Monitoring: Philips x-ray equipment, Xper monitoring system  Software: Epic for documentation and coordination of care Position Details:  Requested Time Off (RTO): Considered on a case-by-case basis Interview Process:  Typical Turnaround Time: Quick scheduling for interviews once a candidate is submitted  Interview Format: Can be conducted via phone or Zoom, providing flexibility based on candidate preference.
