Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to NICU patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policies.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgement, and leadership in planning safe delivery of care.
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education.
- Delegate patient care priorities appropriate to the education and experience of available staff.
- Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
- Accountable for shift work, ensuring all responsibilities are met efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required.
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
- Must hold BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.
- Proficiency with ventilators essential.
- Ability to work nights and wear Navy scrubs.
- Knowledge of PWP facilities is beneficial.
