Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients within acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide weekend rotation coverage every 6-7 weeks, with compensated days off.
• Conduct patient and family education to promote understanding and compliance with care plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain compliance with facility protocols and healthcare regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and comply with fit testing requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid state Physical Therapist license; may be pending at time of application.
• 1 year of experience in acute care settings required.
• Current BLS certification and experience with the Epic charting system required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Proficient in a range of therapeutic techniques, including gait training and prosthetic education.
• Commitment to maintaining patient safety and upholding the highest standards of care.
