Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - CVICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given accurately.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers.
• Demonstrate pediatric cardiac experience, including management of chest tubes, pacing wires, ventilators, and vasoactive infusions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• One year of experience in Critical Care setting preferred; new graduates considered.
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only).
• Current ACLS certification required (AHA only).
• Current PALS certification required (AHA only).
• RN License in the state of TX or compact.
