Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - CVICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing complex cardiac surgeries and recoveries.
Monitor and manage patients supported by devices such as impella, IABP, CRRT, and ECMO.
Titrate and manage vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmic drips.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including hospitalists and intensivists available 24/7.
Document patient care meticulously using the EPIC charting system.
Adhere to all hospital policies, including dress code and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

Current RN license eligible for submission and compliance with Nebraska regulations.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in CVICU or with similar patient populations.
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
Successful completion of a pass/fail open book exam during orientation.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting telemetry strips without tech support.
Adherence to a 50-mile radius rule for employment eligibility.
