Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in an inpatient rehab unit with orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general med/surg populations.
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders.
- Collaborate with physical therapy team to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services.
- Adjust schedules to meet the varied surgical volume, including weekend and holiday rotations.
- Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient management.
- Commit to continuous professional development and maintaining current BLS certification.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Minimum of one year of experience in an acute care, inpatient rehab, or SNF setting.
- BLS certification required.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree preferred.
- Ability to work flexible day shift hours.
- Strong critical thinking, teamwork, and time management skills.
