Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary nursing care, maintaining a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio during days and 1:5-6 at night.
- Float to various units as required to meet facility staffing needs, including Bellevue campus and other designated areas.
- Participate in testing and implementing innovative care models and technologies in the Innovation Design Unit.
- Administer cardiac drips and adhere to protocols for telemetry monitoring and management.
- Utilize the EPIC charting system effectively for accurate patient documentation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNAs, LPNs, and care techs to deliver comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry experience in a large urban hospital setting.
- Experience in using EPIC for charting and documentation.
- Ability to manage drips and telemetry on all floors.
- Prior experience in a Level I Academic Medical Center is considered an asset.
- Commitment to working weekends: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period.
