Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Therapy/Dietary - Occupational Therapy professional to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to both inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans focusing on neuromuscular, orthopedic, and pediatric conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes in acute and sub-acute care settings.
• Complete documentation in the Cerner EMR system accurately and efficiently.
• Participate in the weekend rotation to ensure continuity of care.
• Adhere to facility protocols, including uniform standards and holiday scheduling with permanent staff.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in occupational therapy required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
• Ability to work in diverse clinical settings, including orthopedic and neurological rehab.
• Flexibility to cover various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Preferred experience in swallow studies for candidates specializing in speech therapy.
