Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cath Lab Tech - Cardiology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures with precision and care.
- Operate and maintain Philips Xper FD20 and FD10 equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols at all times.
- Provide on-call support as needed, with a focus on flexibility and availability.
- Collaborate effectively with a team of RNs, Cath Lab Techs, and Charge Nurse.
- Maintain accurate and timely records within PACs Merge and Meditech.
Qualifications
- One year experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting.
- RCIS, RCES, or RT license for interventional assistance required.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Experience in IR or EP tech settings is preferred.
- Ability to remain calm and flexible under pressure.
- Proficiency in handling advanced procedures like Shockwave and Impella.
