Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - MedSurg to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma Center, ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and standards.
• Maintain sterile field during procedures and competently manage central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertions.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, delivering high-level communication and personal involvement with patients and families.
• Administer care including IV therapy and wound management in an Acute MedSurg care setting.
• Adapt to floor-specific demands, including neuro-rehab care with a 90% neuro population focus.
• Float among MedSurg units as required, providing flexible support to various hospital divisions.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with MedSurg experience and Level 1 Trauma exposure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Proficiency in Cerner EMR systems and ability to manage patient records effectively.
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques and ability to assess and pass dysrhythmia exams.
• Ability to maintain professionalism in appearance and adhere to facility policies regarding hair color, facial piercings, and grooming standards.
• Experience in neuro-rehabilitation and managing patient ratios of RN 1:6 preferred.
